Family Services

Maintaining a community of support that enables families to function in a holistic collaboration of support providers and access to needed services. Veterans living in the community are given access to supportive services such as rental assistance case management, job assistance and access to therapeutic and support groups on-site.

We offer assistance to families in an effort to keep them from becoming homeless. This program is designed to house these at-risk families as quickly as possible by providing legal counseling and financial aid for rent, utilities, moving costs, childcare and bus transportation, employment assistance and benefits counseling.

Issues tackled include veterans and families who have lost stability as a result of homelessness, substance abuse history or failure to make child support payments. We offer services tailored to the needs of those veterans and families, including health services, job assistance, child-specialized case management, access to school, playground and weekend activities for kids. We help skills with educational tools, and educate on how best to manage family conflict.

Participants in the program can also receive assistance in obtaining Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits covering such things as health care and disability payments.
